A Quick Meditative Stretch

LiveYourWell64.jpg

R E S T | A quick meditative stretch. Sit on the ground. Close your eyes and soften your face. Rest your mind and relax your body, take one long breath in through your nose, then out through your nose.

Slowly, gently stretch your neck from side to side. Do this as long as your body wants.

Slide your shoulders up and back, then down over your hips. Repeat as much as you desire.

Stretch your sides by swinging your right arm over to the left and resting it on your leg. Then swinging your left arm over to the right and resting it on your right leg. Stay here until you’re done stretching, or move on to the lower body stretch.

Take your legs and stick them straight out in front of you and flex your feet. Sit up tall, bend over and reach for your toes. Gently lower your head in between your arms. Breathe in through your nose and out through your nose three times. The end. (or continue until your all done. It’s up to you, dear.)
